Electrophoresis

One of evolutional condition of clinical laboratory diagnostics is development and introduction of high-performance, but at the same time accessible and relatively simple analytical methods and diagnostic points of view. Electrophoresis is such method, differing by variety of clinical tasks, which are solving with its use, including zonal electrophoresis which is used in a substance with capillary structure.
Biological macromolecules, such as amino acids, peptides, proteins, nucleic acids and other, being in water solution, have some electric charge. Charged particles under the influence of electric field are moving to cathode or anode depending on charge sign. Such phenomenon is called electrophoresis. Particles mobility in electric field depends not only on value of total charge but on size, molecule shape, strength of electric field, temperature, properties of environment.
Difference between electrophoretic mobility of biomolecules is used for their division and analyzing of breakup.
A task of division by electrophoretic method is executing by electrophoresis system SE 2120, which is a part of densitometer DM 2120.
Electrophoresis system SE 2120 includes power source PE 2120 and electrophoretic chamber CE 2120.
Densitometer DM 2120 execute the second task - definition of percentage and concentration of analyzing probes fractions by measuring of their optical densities
