Hemostasis |
Hemostasis - some of the basic functional biological systems, which are contributing to save a permanency of interior organism environment. The activity of hemostasis system is directed at prevention and breaking bleeding by saving the structural integrity of vascular wall and local thrombus formation in combination with maintenance of system blood flow and rheological quality of blood. Under influence of extremal factors upon a human, including a damage or influence of pathogens, protective systems, which are united in a common mechanism, are ensuring a restoration of integrity of a bloodstream, including prevention and knocking-over of bleeding in a thin-walled and easily traumatized small gauge vessels, maintenance of a normal bloodstream and circulated blood volume, keeping of its physical and biological properties (pressure, fluidity, mixture, sterility). Because of different physiological coagulation mechanisms - conversion of blood from liquid to gel-like condition with forming of a fibrin grume (thrombus) providing for hemostasis. Coagulation, complemented by a fibrinolysis, which is responsible to fibrin degradation, grume lysis and wound healing, contribute to conservation of a bloodstream and reconstruction of a bloodstream. Blood vessels and blood cells(platelet and partly leucocytes) are reacting upon a damage first. A main part in prevention and stoppage of bleeding from microvessels belongs to exactly this reaction. In this connection vascular-thrombocyte damage response is designated as a "primary hemostasis" while a fibrillation process as a "secondary hemostasis", those both of these mechanisms are mutually inducing each other and functionating on a long duration conjugated. In that way hemostasis sysmem unite primary (platelet-vascular and microcirculationar) and secondary (plasmic or coagulation) hemostasis. Coagulation, anticoagulative mechanisms and fibrinolysis are dynamic elements of an united plasmic hemostasis. Aggregometer AP 2110 is intended for analyzing of primary hemostasis. Determination of platelets and erythrocytes aggregative capacity is making with help of this device. Hemocoagulometer CGL 2110 (single-channel) and hemocoagulometer CT 2410 (four-channel) are intended for analyzing of secondary hemostasis
